It is our great pleasure that the Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG) - Ludhiana Chapter established at Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, PAU Campus Ludhiana recently is celebrating the World Environment Day on 6th June 2016 at Punjab Remote Sensing Centre, Ludhiana by organizing a Popular Lecture by Sh A S Dogra (IFS), Retd. PCCF, Punjab followed by two competitions namely

1. Essay writing competition on the topic  “Role of Science and Technology (Space & ICT) in Planning Our Resources for a Safer Environment”  and 

2.  Oral presentation of 10 minutes duration (7 min presentation + 3 min discussion) is envisaged by individuals on any one of the topics given below: 

• Role of Science and Technology (Space & ICT) in Digital India Programme.
• Role of Science and Technology (Space & ICT) in Make in India Programme
• Role of Science and Technology (Space & ICT) in Skill Development for the Nations Growth

You are requested to circulate it among your respective Institutes and other Universities /Institutes/Colleges/Department , where you have contacts, to encourage the students to enroll for the event and give it a wider publicity to get a good response (Copy of the Invitation Letter and Enrollment Form Attached)
